Camping

Just starting on this page, but here are some photos of our camping.

Flea wants you to know that camping can be fun with alot of new smells.

and he really likes Tar Hollow State park in Ohio.

But as you see it really takes it out of you!

Nila had to show me up( not hard to do) this taken at

Camp Atterbury Ind. where we hope to take the boys next year.

Above is our site at Camp Atterbury. Real nice place  and the people on post could not be nicer.

In 2007 ( I think) Nils had to take some time off for the Doc.. I said well ok you can heal on the road as well as at home!

So we went to the Coast Guard base in Elizabeth City N.C. Right on the river and one hour from the outer banks. Good to see the troops getting good training.

We were there for 10 days

Then we went to one of my old homes.Dad was at Ft. Monroe from about 1956 to 1960.

Fred was born there.We like the area so much that Keith and I took off one week-end this spring and went down to go fishing and to eat at Hooters we went fishing one hole day but had to eat all 3 days we were there.

I am really not that big on fishing But love the salt air!

Yes we were only 125yd. from the bay and could see it from the camp grounds.

2010 Nila's last day at work was 12-31-09. It's off to the south for the winter.

We are here a little over 700 mi. south.

We will be staying at Eagle Hammock R.V. Park on the Nave Sub Base.

Flea on the beach

One of the wild horses on Cumberland Island. Alot of wild life here and the

sand on the beach is so solf it's like powder. The boat ride out is about 45 min. long. I would rate a day for this trip an 8 or 9.

This was our front yard a 22 ac. lake ( with gators)
